Terms of Service

The terms and conditions governing your use of AI Room Design's AI-powered room redesign platform.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and AI Room Design ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of airoomdesign.run and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You may not use the Service if prohibited by applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to you.

3. Description of the Service

AI Room Design is an AI-powered platform that allows users to upload photos of interior spaces, select a design style, and receive AI-generated redesigned room images. The Service operates on a credit-based system:

  • Free Plan: 3 credits upon registration, with periodic free credits.
  • Pro Plan: Monthly or annual subscription with 1,000 credits per period.
  • Lifetime Plan: One-time payment granting 1,000 credits per month, indefinitely.
  • Credit Packages: One-time purchase of additional credits.

Each AI generation consumes 1 credit. Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

4. AI-Generated Output — Important Limitations

Our Service uses generative artificial intelligence to produce room redesign images ("Outputs"). You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI systems are probabilistic and may produce results that are inaccurate, unexpected, or vary between generations.
  • Outputs are provided for inspiration and ideation purposes only.
  • Outputs are not architectural drawings, are not to scale, and must not be relied upon for actual construction, renovation, permitting, or safety decisions.
  • We make no warranty that Outputs will be accurate representations of achievable real-world designs.
  • The colors, materials, dimensions, and spatial relationships depicted in Outputs are approximations only.

The Service does not provide professional architectural, interior design, engineering, or construction advice. Always consult qualified professionals before undertaking any renovation or construction project.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Images

You retain full ownership of the photos you upload ("User Content"). By uploading images to our Service, you grant AI Room Design a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Process and transmit your images through our AI pipeline to generate Outputs.
  • Store your images and Outputs temporarily as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Display your images and Outputs to you within your account dashboard.

We will not use your images in public marketing materials without your explicit written consent.

5.2 Your Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the right to upload and use the images you submit (e.g., you own them or have permission).
  • Your images do not contain illegal content, depictions of minors in inappropriate contexts, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • You will not attempt to upload images to circumvent our content moderation systems.

6. Output Rights and Licensing

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce the Outputs generated from your account for:

  • Personal use: All plans.
  • Commercial use: Pro and Lifetime plans only.

Free plan users may use Outputs for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not claim copyright ownership of AI-generated Outputs where prohibited by applicable law.

7. Credits, Subscriptions, and Billing

7.1 Credits

  • Credits are consumed upon initiating an AI generation request, regardless of whether the output meets your expectations.
  • If a generation fails due to a technical error on our side, your credit will be automatically refunded to your account.
  • Credits do not expire unless stated otherwise on the plan or package page at the time of purchase.
  • Credits are non-refundable except as described in Section 7.3.

7.2 Subscriptions

  • Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
  • Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel beforehand.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
  • Downgrading or canceling a subscription does not provide prorated refunds for the remaining period.

7.3 Refund Policy

  • Unused credit packages: We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if no credits from that package have been used.
  • Subscription fees: We do not offer partial refunds for subscription periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@airoomdesign.run within 14 days.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload images you do not own or have rights to use.
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models, algorithms, or proprietary systems.
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or Outputs beyond the license granted in Section 6.
  • Use Outputs to develop or train competing AI models without our written consent.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

9. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@airoomdesign.run if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login credentials.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying AI models, is owned by or licensed to AI Room Design and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Replicate (AI processing), Google (OAuth), and Cloudflare R2 (storage). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or content of any third-party service.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
  • AI Outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
  • Results will be consistent between generations.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AI ROOM DESIGN'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  • $50 USD, or
  • The total amount you paid to AI Room Design in the 3 months preceding the claim.

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • Your use creates legal, security, or reputational risk for us or other users.
  • We are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are forfeited upon termination for cause. We will process a pro-rated refund of unused credits only if termination is initiated by us without cause.

16. Modifications to the Service or Terms

We reserve the right to modify the Service, pricing, or these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 7 days' notice via email or a prominent in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AI Room Design operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

For any dispute arising from these Terms, we encourage you to first contact us at support@airoomdesign.run to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue available legal remedies.
